Our team is growing, we are currently recruiting for an Experienced Project Engineer to join our team in our Brisbane office.

About the role 

  • Effectively support the management of office or onsite activities to ensure the successful delivery of the project on time, to budget and in accordance with Ausenco’s objectives 
  • Ensure that the project runs according to project plans with appropriately skilled staff at the required times 
  • Coordinate a team of engineers and technical support personnel in completing the assigned scope. 
  • Manage the work in accordance with the project schedule and budget 
  • Effectively manage scope changes and trends – actively identify quantity, cost and time trends and change management requirements
  • Maintain a professional and functional relationship with client personnel

About you

  • Engineering degree from a recognised tertiary institute or equivalent experience 
  • Proven experience working in mining and minerals studies and/or projects  
  • EPCM experience including supervision of contractors and field personnel will be looked upon favorably  
  • Proven exposure to project scheduling, planning, cost control, estimating and reporting
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to develop rapport with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
