Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Engineer (ATO) to join our Minerals & Metals  business line in São Miguel Paulista - SP.

About the role:

  • Experience in mining process projects, preferably in nickel and cobalt processing.
  • Provide technical support to the person responsible for field mechanical activities.
  • Act as a liaison between field execution and the engineering office, ensuring alignment of mechanical projects, process engineering, and multidisciplinary interfaces regarding project revisions, adjustments, and scope changes based on client requirements.
  • Perform field quantity take-offs related to dismantling (with and without equipment reuse), refurbishment, and assembly activities.
  • Support the planning team in identifying and managing interferences between activities and/or different disciplines.
  • Interface with engineering disciplines, the client, and provide technical coordination with suppliers.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mining projects, preferably in nickel and cobalt processing plants.
  • Solid experience working in industrial/mining environments, including field activities and project interfaces.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and 3D modeling tools.
  • Strong understanding and application of technical engineering standards.
  • Knowledge and practical application of health and safety standards and regulations.
