We are actively expanding our talented team to support this momentum, and we’re excited to be recruiting for a motivated Project Controls Manager to join our growing project execution team.

You will provide project controls leadership to ensure Ausenco can achieve the desired business outcomes in respect to its project requirements. This role would suit someone who has had similar experience in the mining or construction industries working on resource sector projects. This role will be based out of our Brisbane office. 

About the role  

  • A hands on project controls leadership role covering all aspects of cost control, progress measurement and cost forecasting.  
  • Lead the project status monitoring and reporting processes and review and present results to management, client and stakeholders.  
  • Lead the management of project change.  
  • Assist the project commercial team with variations and claims by providing required data from project controls  
  • Provide support through technical excellence in systems and procedures across both cost control and planning / scheduling.  

  

About you  

  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in multi-disciplinary project controls management including cost control, planning and scheduling, change management and progress measurement in the field of engineering and construction.  
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing the entire life cycle of projects. Experience in EPC or lump sum projects is well regarded  
  • The ability to effectively communicate, verbal and written.  
  • Technical software requirements – working knowledge of Primavera P6, Ecosys, or equivalent cost processing applications.  
  • Experienced in cost control, forecasting, progress measurement, analytical reviews, monthly report preparation within an engineering and project execution related environment.  
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills will ensure success in this demanding role.  
  • Capable of ensuring adherence to recommended Project Management best practices.  
  • Proficiency in using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
