Our team is growing; we are currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in our Brisbane office. 

About the role 

• Contribute to the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering designs and feasibility studies
• Prepare technical reports related to specific design issues.
• Deliver best practice technical solutions in accordance with project scope, timeframes, and standards.
• Prepare equipment procurement packages, designs, calculations and cost estimates for conventional engineering, research, and development assignments.
• Familiar with standard discipline deliverables and work process on projects.
• Demonstrate initiative and basic leadership skills to give direction within a small work group.
• Develop networks and relationships within teams, across the organisation and with clients.
• Assist with the preparation of proposals and tenders (such as estimating design hours)

About You

• Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Previous experience working in engineering consulting, EPC/EPCM in the mining and resources sectors.
• Design experience using ETAP, SKM Power Tools or Hexagon Smartplant.
• Sound understanding of current codes and standards including Australian and IEC/IEEE
• RPEng or willing to work towards accreditation.
• Willingness to travel is highly desirable.
