Senior Structural Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team based in Perth. This role has been created as a result of a growing pipeline of awarded international minerals projects in diverse commodities including Gold, Uranium, Rare Earths and more

About the role 

  • Assist in delivering cost-effective structural engineering designs from conceptual design to detailed design, tender and construction
  • Deliver on project requirements as they relate to scope, quantities, cost, and schedule
  • Perform analysis and design of steel structures and concrete foundations
  • Prepare specifications, design criteria, scope of work and material take-offs
  • Work with designers and other engineers on the project team

About you 

  • Suitable tertiary qualifications in Engineering
  • Working toward CPEng or eligible to work towards CPEng
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
  • The ability to think critically and analytically
  • A proactive demeanour and strong social skills to collaborate and work optimally within a multi-discipline team
  • Previous experience working on EPC/EPCM projects 
  • Analysis and design of vibrating equipment foundations using Strand7
  • Analysis and design of structures for vibrating equipment (e.g., scrubbers, screens, crushers) using Space Gass or Strand7
