We’re looking for an experienced Senior Document Controller to join our team in South Bank. In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to our Project Delivery Team, supporting projects across Australia East and the Asia Pacific region.

You’ll take ownership of ensuring project documentation is managed efficiently and accurately, working closely with project teams to maintain compliance and streamline processes.

About the role

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to develop clear, project-specific work instructions and processes.
  • Be the trusted advisor for document management best practices, supporting project teams and running training sessions on the nominated Document Management System (DMS) to build user capability.
  • Keep projects on track by maintaining accurate document registers and managing version and revision control.
  • Stay informed and proactive by participating in project meetings and reporting on the status of key deliverables.
  • Work closely with clients and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with document control procedures and confidentiality standards.
  • Manage and process Vendor Data throughout all phases of the project lifecycle and represent document control in vendor progress and kick-off meetings.

About you

  • Proven experience in document control for engineering projects.
  • Proficiency in document management systems such as Aconex, SharePoint, or similar.
  • Experience with Hexagon SDx (an advantage).
  • Strong skills in developing and implementing document control procedures and guidelines.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems (desirable).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Document formatting and preparation skills (an advantage).
