About the role:

• Assit in conducting earthworks & civil infrastructure design, and reporting for projects involving tailings storage facilities, waste rock dumps, and other mine infrastructure.
• Support int the preparation of design drawings and specifications, from initial scoping studies through to detailed design and construction phases.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports, proposals, and project documentation to support client needs and project milestones.
• Develop accurate and comprehensive engineering and construction cost estimates to support project budgeting and planning.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring timely and successful project execution.
• Travel to client sites within Mexico and internationally to support project activities.

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a closely related field.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in relevant roles.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D is required.
• Hands-on experience processing topographical data and satellite images.
• Familiarity with tools like Global Mapper and QGIS is considered an asset.
• Knowledge and experience in water resources (hydrology, calculations, and design) are highly desirable.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Capable of efficiently interacting with interdisciplinary teams and clients.
