We are seeking a Manager, Sustaining Capital to join us in Perth, Western Australia.

As Ausenco continues to expand across the APAC and Africa regions, we are investing heavily in the growth of our Sustaining Capital capability and are seeking an experienced leader to help drive the next stage of that journey. About the role

  • Lead the growth and development of Ausenco's Sustaining Capital business across Western Australia and Africa.
  • Build and strengthen strategic relationships with existing and prospective mining and resource sector clients.
  • Identify opportunities, develop proposals and win sustaining capital and brownfield project work.
  • Oversee the successful execution and delivery of sustaining capital projects from concept through completion.
  • Provide leadership across multidisciplinary engineering and project delivery teams.
  • Support client site engagement across Perth, the Southwest and broader Western Australian regions.
  • Manage project performance including safety, quality, schedule, commercial outcomes and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with operational and technical leaders to develop and execute business growth strategies.
  • Mentor and develop team members while fostering a high-performance and client-focused culture.

About you

  • Significant experience leading sustaining capital and/or brownfield projects within the mining and resources sector.
  • Demonstrated success in client engagement, business development and project delivery leadership.
  • Strong understanding of engineering, project execution and asset optimisation within operational environments.
  • Proven ability to identify opportunities, develop winning proposals and grow client accounts.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects safely and successfully.
  • Commercially astute with strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Knowledge of the Western Australian mining sector and established industry networks will be highly regarded.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and growing successful business capabilities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and influencing skills.
