As a result of a growing pipeline of awarded work across diverse commodities in critical minerals and metals across WA and Africa, we’re seeking a talented Process Designer to join our growing team in our Perth CBD office.

 

About the Role 

As a Process Designer you will produce high quality, cost effective, design PFD Pan P&ID drawings.  under the supervision of a Lead Designer.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Produce Ausenco and industry standard design PDF and P&ID’s from the design engineers’ sketches with supervision.
  • Follow and implement all relevant Ausenco standards and procedures.
  • Ensure drawings comply with all relevant Australian Standards.
  • Ensure the correct use of project defined standard design details and notes are used in the production of project design drawings.
  • Ensure that all CAD files you produce strictly comply with the necessary Ausenco and project CAD procedures.
  • Ensure project design data within your area of work is disseminated to other project team members in an efficient and timely manner.
  • In conjunction with the design team meeting project budget and schedule for drawings.
  • Comply with all published company procedures and instructions.

 

About You

To excel in this role, you will

  • Be proficient in all aspects of AutoCAD or Smart P&ID software (preferably both) and to use those skills within the Ausenco defined procedures.
  • Produce drawings that are consistent industry standard techniques and that comply to industry drawing office and CAD procedures.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work in a multi disciplinary team environment
  • Possess effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be capable of producing drawings within the project defined budget hours for the defined deliverable document.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continued professional development
