Our team in the US is growing. We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join our Minerals and Metals Business line in the Tucson or Denver office.
About the Role
Project management of execution-phase/sustaining capital minerals and metal projects in accordance with contractual commitments.
Provide timely and efficient coordination and delivery of projects varying in size and complexity in locations across the USA and potentially abroad.
Provide leadership and technical expertise needed to achieve quality outcomes while ensuring client’s needs are always met.
Build and manage a high-performing, multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary project team
Support the conversion of studies into execution projects
About You
10+ years' proven project management experience in mineral processing or heavy industry construction
BS in engineering, construction management and/or relevant industry experience.
Preferably registered, or eligible to be registered, as a professional engineer
PMP is a plus
Proven track record managing multiple projects simultaneously or a single project of major size and scope.
Demonstrated commercial acumen and strategic thinking, with proven track record in identifying and pursuing business development opportunities with both new and existing clients.
An understanding of the operation of a multidiscipline engineering and construction company.
Ability to lead, manage, develop and coach project team members.
Experience in planning, budgeting and reporting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills: ability to engage effectively with clients, management and team members from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds. Skilled in tailoring messaging to different audiences, deliver compelling presentations, and preparing high-quality proposals.
Managing competing priorities with clarity and confidence
Mining/construction site experience
